Xo Dang includes Xo Teng, To Dra, Mnam, Ca Dong, Ha Lang, Ta Tri, Chau. Their population is around 169,501 people. Their language belongs to Mon – Khmer. They mainly live in Ngoc Linh mountain range. Xo Dang people live in Kon Tum province, Nam Tra My district, Bac Tra My district, Phuoc Son district in Quang Nam province, Son Tay district and Quang Ngai province.
Upland rice is their main livings. Besides rice, they plant other crops such as sesame, cassava, tobacco, pineapple, banana, sugarcane, etc. 
Xo Dang people follows polytheistic (god of thunder and lightning, god of the sun, god of mountain, god of river, god of rice, etc.). They make many celebrations for supernatural power.
Xo Dang people love singing. They compose many folk songs, lullaby. Their traditional stories are rich and special.
